How do you like the name "Snow"? For a Girl? For a Boy?
This name sort of respresents how this pregnancy started. We had to drive about 50 miles south on the day after the big blizzard (15" + of snow) for an embryo transfer (FET).
In IVF lingo, we like the embryos to "stick". That is slang for attaching to the endometrium.
Well, when we found out the FET was successful, the snow was still "sticking" around too. So, I thought the name "Snow" might be appropriate.
Also, I'm all ears if you have any suggestions for boys names. There are several girl names that I like really well, but not many of the boys names overly excite me. Please leave me a comment if you have a suggestion.
Names that I'm considering -- Snow, Jody, Alainia (Elaina), Colleen, Jill, William (Will), Jordy, Tory, Ryan, Nikki, Alyssa, Lisa, Suzy, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Haley, Lacey, Brianne, Elise, Leah, Lucy, Miles, Joel, Levi, Karen, Missy, Pam, Allen, Don, Arthur, Paul.

I presented this theory to my DH. He thought it was a silly association. However, once we found out the FET succeeded, he said "You better right that down." lol So here it is, my "theory" of twos.
Will the stars be aligned for my FET? Well, I don't know if the stars will be, but it looks like the "2"s will be.
This will be my 2nd FET. My 2nd fresh IVF was successful. I'm having this FET in the 2nd month of the year. I'm only taking 2 estrodial valerate shots per week. DS turns 2 this month. 2 is DS's favorite number. I will be doing this FET in my 2nd IVF clinic. Hopefully, this will be my 2nd pregnancy.
There are only a few unknowns.
Should I just transfer two? (I actually transferred three embryos, two stong ones and a not so good one).Will the FET result in two babies? Or will I just have two babies total. One from each pregnancy?
Do you think the "2s" are aligned for success?

The IVF coordinator called today. My 2nd beta came back at 365 so it more than doubled in the last 48 hours. Also, my progesterone was us to 48. WoooooHoooooo! This little babe (or babies) might make it yet!

I'm Pregnant!
HCG at 14 days past my FET is 171. For comparison, 1st HCG for DS was 92 @ 15 days past 3 day embryo transfer.
Progesterone is low, 16.6. The IVF coordinator said she wanted it above 25. I have to increase my PIO to form 1ml to 1.5 ml. Ouch!
2nd Beta test is Friday to ensure numbers are rising appropriately.
I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm getting closer.

There was a lot of excitment around our house this morning. I didn't put my DS's stickers away and he found them this morning. I think he tried to use them to dress himself! So, this is how DS started off his day. Sticker Man!
This is how I started off my day. Finally! I know it's premature since I've still got the critical first trimester to get through, but just think, in a few years a could have two or more Sticker Men or Women running around my house!
