When good things happen
Good things have been happening. Just little things, but nonetheless it helps make me happy.
My cholesterol is below 200 for the first time in probably a decade. My blood pressure is lower (it wasn’t really high before, but now it’s great!)
I found a box of clothing I thought I’d accidentally given to charity, summer shirts and sweaters that I really like and missed. I did a little happy dance over that one.
My new orthotics are here. I no longer am walking on support that is crumbling in my shoes.
I received special recognition at my office for a little thing I did that apparently made a big difference. That recognition came with a nice sized cash bonus too. (Hmmm, maybe I CAN afford a new dress…)
I have a new team member for my 3-Day team, a woman to share my tent! So long as my snoring doesn’t scare her, things should be fine.
It’s really nice that life is going well. 10 years ago I probably would be waiting for the next shoe to drop, but now I’ve mellowed enough to realize that I can deal with it without stressing. Now if only menopause would hit, life would be PERFECT!
