Aspiring writers, take heed! Here's a challenge that is guaranteed to spark the interest of wordsmiths everywhere!

The Writing Exercise Board will kick off their 4th annual July Write-A-Thon the first of the month. Each person sets their own personal writing goals for the challenge and checks in on the board periodically to share their progress or even grab a bit of inspiration and encouragement. Writing prompts will also be posted for those who may need a little kick-start in the ideas department! Participants can even snag a cute graphic.

From the seasoned writer to the novice just discovering a knack with words, it's a great way to challenge yourself, hone your writing skills and develop good writing habits .. and it promises to be loads of fun!

Yeah, and I'm the oldest of 7, so I catch even the subtlest of sibling signals, lol. My girls' last day of school is May 28, when they have a half day. They're hoping I get my truck before then so I can go pick them up in that and show it off, lol. ;)
