About Me: In my mind, I know that all things are possible, but I am waging war with my quiet, subversive inner voice that says that I alone can't really make a difference. So-- just to annoy that voice, I do some small thing each day with the faith that the deed will join the small works of others to make the world a better place.

Animal Food Needed at Noah's Ark

    Saturday, September 22nd, 2007, 8:16 am

Sometimes the hardest part about lending a hand is finding the place where you can make a difference.  Well... at least for today, PROBLEM SOLVED!

I work with an animal rescue group in Atlanta.  I have just learned of an urgent need for animal food at a really great animal rehabilitation center south of Atlanta.

Noah’s Ark in Locust Grove, GA is in desperate need of pet food donations. Click here to see their food needs.

    Noah's Ark

For those of you who do not know of Noah’s Ark, they are an exceptional organization with the mission of “Bringing children and animals together for the purpose of providing unconditional love, unconditional service and a future of hope.”

To do this they run children’s care homes and a refuge and rehabilitation center for all types of animals. Click here for more information on Noah's Ark from a previous post on Dollar Philanthropy.

If you would like to donate food, the address can be found by clicking here. You can also find a way to make a donation if you just don’t see a trip to Locust Grove in your near future.
