To sew or not to sew?
That is the question!! After a recent move, I donated my sewing machine to a local charity. My dad gave it to me for my 16th birthday. He wanted to buy me a car....but since he couldn't afford it....he gave me a sewing machine instead. His theory was....it had a pedal...not a gas pedal, but a pedal none the less! LOL! Well, that thing served it's purpose for 23 years, and had helped with it's share of sewing projects. Well, now that I've been without a sewing machine for a year....I am torn on what to do about window treatments! To sew or not to sew....it truly is the question. With 2 little children at home, time for me and my projects is always a problem. Although the cost of a new updated sewing machine and material would be way less than ordering custom drapes/sheers. (The windows are huge and there are a ton of them). So, it may take me a year to complete....or a year to pay off if I ordered them. ugh....decisions, decisions! What's a girl to do.
