Loved the movie, Mamma Mia!!!  I will see it again.

Loved the music!  I grew up listening to ABBA.

Pierce Brosnan did a terrific job.   Isn't it amazing how he

just gets better looking the older he gets?  He handled the

singing well and, of corse, his acting was top notch as always!

It's been a long time since I've been to a movie and heard

the people around me having so much fun; clapping,laughing!

Love to hear from Pierce Brosnan fans.   I've been a fan since

his Remington Steele T.V.  days.    I love the music of ABBA!!!

A friend and I arranged to see one of the first showings at our local cinema last Thursday...and we were not disappointed! Whilst I had heard beforehand that the singing was not up to scratch, listening to the film I disagree. I thought they all sang wonderfully considering none of them are professional singers (as far as I know, I could be wrong!) Moreover, the story was told exquisitely through the strength of the acting parts =)

I now officially want to see the stage show! The movie reawakened the ABBA fan inside me, and I have been listening to their Gold album nonstop since I saw the film. I think everyone's getting sick of me singing their songs now! x

It has now been 4 days since I saw Mamma Mia! with our Community Moderators and I still can’t get the soundtrack out of my head! Whether I’m in bed, in the shower, or on the treadmill, those catchy songs continue to delight (and haunt) me.  I’m sure many of you are still feeling the same way.

This is not a new addiction – merely a relapse of one that has presented itself every few years since the tender age of 6, when I frequently danced around the living room singing “Money, Money, Money” at the top of my lungs. I blame my father for getting me hooked, as ABBA is the only part of his Swedish heritage that he fully embraces and we owned every 8-track to prove it. Yet I have no one to blame but myself for buying tickets to see ABBA tribute bands, watching countless biographies and putting the ABBA box set on my Christmas list.

So, to make use of my useless ABBA knowledge and to get these songs out of my head, I now present “The ABBA Quiz.” Give it a shot and pass it along to your friends, and enter by sending me a message through Connect.
