I haven’t been posting much lately because iVillage has started having problems with Netscape Navigator. I can’t seem to post here or on my boards using this browser. I hope this won’t be a continuing problem once I get my wireless network set up at home and have my MacBook up and running. I have no intention of corrupting my pretty laptop with Microshaft poo. That, and we’ve had killer storms coming through here the last few weeks. Wednesday was particularly fun. The sky turned black. Those who were listening to the radio told us there was a tornado warning for our area. As we moved to the hallway (I’m on the first floor) the power went out. Nothing more serious occurred at the office, and within 30 minutes it was only moderately raining. They released us to go home. Driving home I saw much more damage—power lines down, traffic lights out, one building missing a roof. Funny thing though: west of here it just rained some. The studio only suffered a short power outage. We had classes as usual for those students who could make it. I only had one cancellation, and we both agreed that was a good idea since his drive would have been horrible. We still didn’t have internet service at my office until 2 pm the next day. BAH! Should have stayed home and slept in!
