I didn't blog yesterday when I got back from my weekend away, for several reasons. I've not been dealing well with the prospect of losing my job and I'm afraid I am struggling a bit this week. Raging insomnia, wild mood swings (ranging from competence and self-belief way over to panic and hysteria). I'm afraid it's got me in a bad way for the moment, and I am desperately trying to keep it together for the sake of keeping my job,It all seems rather grim at the moment. When I blog, I need to be able to see SOME silver lining and I've been struggling to see that for the last week or so. We'll all know I'm starting to come out of it when I can blog chirpily again. I think I need to accept that this is just a part of this horrid illness and things will get back to a place where I feel human again and I can cope - just not yet. I think this is just something I have to go through and just hope it will pass quickly and I don't do too much damage to those friendships I do have while it is with me.In teh mean time, I hope all you iVillage lovlies out there will bear with me until I am normal Mellers again.

I woke up very early this morning (insomnia is never a good sign) and I've already lost my temper with partner. I'm stressed, actually VERY hungry - so much that I've had to have 14 points worth of breakfast - and my insides are churning like I'm about to sit an exam - or vomit - or both.

I'm tense, nervous and practically hyper because today is the implementation day of my first project since I got back to work in January.

Pathetic really, it's a lift and shift move of only 5 users, their PCs and phones from 2 separate London offices to a 3rd London office, with a measly budget of something like £10k, but I am bricking it.

I am just dreading what will go wrong and can't concentrate on anything. Yet another reason why I shouldn't be doing this job.... I suppose I should be grateful that the doc passed me unfit to carry on doing it last week but I'm still a bit shell-shocked about it to think of it as anything positive just yet.

Bear with me.

The last two days at work have been frightful. Crappy technology, crappy management and to top it all I got a puncture on the way home from work yesterday. I'm not coping at all and I'm afraid to say that I broke down with my care co-ordinator this morning.

I am going to have to discuss the situation with my manager, but I'm not looking forward to it.

So if I had ever taken a stress management class, now is the time for me to invoke some of that deep breathing and "happy place" visits....I am SO stressed over this move.  My husband is so busy working right now that I've been taking care of it all.  And I found out that the day we pack out with the movers (which, for me is THE most stressful day trying to watch them pack everything and make sure they don't break anything or take anything) he has to be at work for four or five hours.  Needless to say, I was NOT a happy camper.  He has an appt. in the morning that he cannot miss (military appt) so we just have to deal with it.  Arrrrgh.  My fitness regimen that I was so proud of a week ago has completely flopped out the window.  I am eating terrible on top of it.  SO, needless to say, I'm a mess. :)  I had to try and set up our high-speed internet today over the phone and OMG...I was on the phone for an hour and a half, got transferred so many times I can't count and ended up getting charged for an order I didn't place.  I actually burst into tears after 45 minutes of this craziness.  (It doesn't help that I'm PMSing right nwo either!)  So, today was NOT a great day.  Okay, I'm going to go take a breath now.
