Hello my friends! I hope you have had an awesome weekend! Mine has been great! In fact I have felt so amazing this weekend! I had a fun experience at the grocery store here I went Saturday and was doing my shoping sporting my Biggest Loser hoodie. When I had this woman walk up to me with her kids cause she saw my hoodie and she asked me if I was on the show and I was like umm no (laughing on the inside and thinking boy if I was on the show I sure did backslide lol) But I told her about the Biggest Loser League and about my team I have on here. So she asked me how much weight had I lost and I did the quick math and chimed in with about 60 pounds (66 really from my highest weight) I actually admited my highest weight to this complete stranger in the crowded commissary. Thats a big step for me to say my actual highest weight outloud in front of people it makes it more real some how. She congratulated me and told me how good I looked and encouraged me to keep up the good work! I thanked her I'm still not great at taking compliments but I'm working on it lol!Then out of the blue she asked me to help her do her shopping and show her what stuff I bought...wow that was surreal, I did it though I showed her the stuff I buy,what to look for on lables and etc. She even offered me some money for my help and of course I didn't accept it! But it felt good to help someone else and it felt good to have someone else actually want my help! Then last night my older two daughters and I went for a late night walk that was nice! Then today my hubby and I hit the gym at the base and OMG I love that gym I will be going back as much as possible! We worked out for like an hour and a half it was fantastic and then later on in the day we did some more walking! I've gotten some really good new recipes we've been trying over the weekend too! And today I finally got in all the water I had sat my goal for and a bit more yay I got over 100 ounces of water in today! So all in all its been a decent weekend even if some of my neighbors want to be immature little girls oh well they can be that way I don't care really its all them they want to gossip and talk behind other peoples backs well you know what karma is a far bigger bitch than I could ever be! So I'll take a deep breath and step away....and just let it go because you know what I AM BETTER THAN THAT!

You are what you eat this week! This week I want you to keep a journal of EVERYTHING you put in your mouth! Food, liquids and etc! Post here so we can see what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong! This can help out greatly with tips and pointers! So from today till next Sunday keep a journal, you'll see it'll help you be more awear of what you are eating! Here is a site you can try if you like www.sparkpeople.com this site is another community of people trying to lose weight you have on there the ability to log your food and get the calorie count of how my  you eat a day! There is also a fitness tracker that can help you stay on track as well! You can set up an account free of charge and log your food there and get a calorie count and post it back here on the group or if you know of any other web sites that you like to use personally then feel free to use them!

Things I Learned From Watching Weight Loss


1. Holly is a major dork.

2. Pam weighs 226 pounds.

3. Friends don't talk about other friends' butts.

4. Every little boy fantasizes about his fairytale wedding.

5. If your company is having a weight loss competition, replace all the snacks in the vending machine with fruits and vegetables, and be sure to keep spraying to keep flys away.

6. Angela hasn't seen Andy naked.

7. When doing weekly weigh-ins, stand on the same place on the scale for the same amount of weight distribution.

8. Michael told the office he was the dad of Jan's baby.

9. You might get nauseous if someone picks up and carries around the laptop of the computer that you are watching the webcam of.

10. Michael went 28 years without sex.

11. If Angela gains weight, she will die.

12. Men from Scranton are handsome.

13. Kevin and Jim are on Ryan's list.

14. Kelly and Darryl are crazy in love.

15. You can force someone to exercise by dropping them off in a bad part of town and make them walk back.

16. People probably like Phyllis' jugs.

17. The Little Drummer Boy is bigger than Christmas.

I was reading someone else's blog on age and predicted age. I wondered how that would calculate out for me. I'm so encouraged. I'm 60 but it said my virtual age is 51.7 and that I can expect to live to over 86. Wow. I used to do risky things but stopped before I had children. I stopped drinking, smoking. But I'm fat. I keep exercising, could do more and am working on that now, but have always done some exercise. Now am exercising 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours per day. Some is aerobic, some is strength (back exercises and stretching every single day; and some is stretching. Stretching helps keep me from hurting myself. I wonder how losing weight will help. I'm tempted to do the calculations based on my history with lower weight. I'm lucky, my cholesterol is low and my blood pressure is low. I've always eaten good foods (had a health nut mom and it rubbed off to my kids consternation as little kids)... but too much. Quitting smoking was murder. I started gaining weight and have only recently been able to stop gaining. That in itself was a victory. Now I want to go down in weight.
