My work is starting their own Biggest Loser version tomorrow, they are calling it "Trimdown" for 3 months.  Will end the 21st of November.  Said there were 560 people who signed up.  The grand prize is a $500 gift card to buy new clothes.  Not really sure its going to end fair as they are not weighing us, but taking the info we give each week on our own honesty and integrity.  So im going to start with what i currently weigh, not what i weighed in the beginning of my journey, but this is motivational in the sense that i am really going to kick up my exercise, drink more water and make sure im eating correct portion sizes.  Should be fun and interesting to see who all sticks with it for 3 months!

I walked the kids to school this morning. The 2 older ones walked and the baby (8 months) and 3 year old rode in the double stroller. Half the way back home the baby starts to fuss so I stop to see what is wrong and I see that her "night night" security blanket is no longer in the stroller. She has had this since the day she was born and it goes everywhere with her! I went back tracing my steps hoping and praying I would find it. I walked all around the school ground and walked back the same way we went and was so relieved when I found it a block from home. Once we get home the 3 year old starts crying saying she dropped her bear. So back out we went to find it just 2 houses down. I was so pantic and was walking fast while pushing a heavy double stroller. So I know I got in a good workout.

Well as i am sitting here at work i just thought about how work causes me a few eating problems... I know that i am 23 years old and should be able to control myself by now but i still have a hard time! I work in an office and people bring in all kinda treats, i know i dont have to eat them but they are there!

Does any one else run in to these problems at work?

Well today is my first day back to work after a three day weekend and this weekend we are going camping so i wont be working Friday either.

Ive been having a little bit of trouble keeps up on my exercise and eating right. I know what i am doing wrong its just correcting it. I make sure i write down everything and ive been taking in way to many calories! Well i just wanted to do a quick blog before work, i hope everyone has a great day!!!

Had a few peeps over yesterday for a BBQ. Partmer's French friends (and their kiddies) and partner's parents. There was CAKE - a few games of boules and some low fat burgers for me!

Have to admit that I didn't do as well as I did last week, having had THREE pieces of chocky gateau, a portion of chocolate trifle and two slices of tarte au citron. Ho hum! Anyway, at least I felt fairly controlled about it and avoided ALL of the other naughties which the rest of the guests seemed happy to have.

Sad that I turned what could have been a pound loss in to a pound gain (today I am 9 st 6) so am going in the wrong way again to lose my holiday gains, but hey - a girl's gotta live! It feels QUITE different from the theatre group get-tpgether of a few weeks ago when I was completely OUT of control and eating everything in sight simply becasue it was there. Still just 2 weeks to go to get rid of the last 4 pounds of my 18 pound holiday gain before I am off on holiday again. I MIGHT do it but it will be touch and go! lol!

In other news, partner starts his new job today, so I am all on my todd for the day. It's a bit weird (and a bit lonely TBH) but at least I have a mountain of washing up from the 'do' yesterday to keep me company!
